A Security Mirror is essentially a two-way mirror.  One application that could be combined with your TV is the use of a web-based camera or video camera to create a security mirror.  If you have a room that needs to be monitored, you can put a video camera behind the mirror next to your TV.  Essentially creating a security mirror.
